The Brenzone Lakeside Path

9 km between lake and villages to discover, step by step

In Brenzone sul Garda, the lake can also be experienced by cycling or walking. The lakeside cycle and pedestrian path runs for about 9 kilometres, completely flat and suitable for everyone. It weaves through the hamlets of the municipality, following Lake Garda just a few metres from the water, and is one of the most enjoyable ways to explore the area.

The route is ideal for families with children, sports enthusiasts, walkers, or anyone who enjoys a peaceful stroll. The surface is well maintained and even, suitable for strollers, city bikes, and wheelchairs. The path features 26 small bridges that make it accessible even in the trickier sections. Along the way, there are rest areas with benches, shaded spots, and direct access to the beaches.

The path connects several lakeside villages, offering ever-changing views: small piers, harbours, centuries-old olive trees, green areas, and more urban stretches where you can stop for a café, a restaurant or an ice cream by the lake. In summer, it’s easy to combine a bike ride or walk with a swim or a picnic outdoors.

The cycle-pedestrian path is part of the Brenzone Nordic Walking Park and is recommended for walkers and lovers of this activity.

You don’t need to be an expert cyclist or seasoned hiker, just the desire to discover Brenzone at a slow pace, letting the lake guide your steps. The lakeside path is an invitation to slow down, observe, and enjoy every meter of road between water, sky, and village life.
