Prada Costabella Cable Car
Easy ascent, high altitude for everyone
Those staying in Brenzone sul Garda can easily reach Monte Baldo easily and in a scenic way thanks to the Prada-Costabella cable car.
The lift system is divided into two sections
Two-seater cable lift
The first section, a two-seater cable lift, departs from Prada and rises gently through woods and clearings, offering, already during the ascent, a first taste of the alpine surroundings.
Two-seater chairlift
After a short intermediate stop at Ortigaretta, where the Rifugio Mondini is located, the route continues with a two-seater chairlift that takes you up to the Costabella area, at over 1,800 metres of altitude.
This lift system is designed to make the mountain accessible to everyone, adults, children, hikers, and nature lovers alike. Even those with little mountain experience can easily reach a genuine alpine environment without facing long hikes or demanding climbs.
Once at high altitude, you can relax near the mountain huts or choose one of the many trails leading towards the ridges or alpine pastures.

Rifugio Fiori del Baldo
Located right next to the chairlift arrival point, it serves traditional mountain dishes and features a beautiful panoramic terrace where you can relax and enjoy the landscape.
Rifugio Chierego
Reachable in about 20 minutes on foot, it is an ideal stop to savour traditional cuisine and experience the authentic atmosphere of the Baldo mountains.
Rifugio Telegrafo
Situated on Cima Telegrafo and reached with a hike of about two hours, it welcomes hikers with a unique alpine setting and breathtaking views over the whole of Lake Garda.
The sunny exposure and the influence of Lake Garda create a mild microclimate, with lush green and blooming landscapes even in mid-summer. The variety of environments — from alpine meadows to rocky slopes — offers striking views and the chance to observe the local flora and fauna. It’s quite common to spot marmots, chamois, and birds of prey in their natural habitat.
