Olive Oil of Brenzone

the yellow gold of Lake Garda

Between the slopes of Monte Baldo and the shores of Lake Garda, Brenzone preserves one of its oldest and most prized traditions: the production of extra virgin olive oil. This craft, passed down through generations, is deeply tied to daily life, the landscape, and the patient work of local olive growers.

Olive trees thrive here on centuries-old terraces overlooking the water, often accessible only on foot. The unique microclimate, moderated by the lake and protected by the mountain, produces an oil that is delicate, aromatic, and rich in beneficial properties. It embodies the Garda identity: balanced, light, ideal when used raw, yet perfect for enhancing even the simplest traditional dishes.

Visits, Mills and Tastings

In Castelletto you will find the historic headquarters of the Oleificio dei Piccoli Produttori, which also hosts the “Bottega dell’olio”, where visitors can purchase and taste high-quality, locally produced extra virgin olive oil.

In Magugnano, instead, is the operational site of the olive mill: a modern facility dedicated to oil processing and sales, serving as a key reference point for ensuring the quality and freshness of local olive oil.
